It provides structured access to announcements—such as Grafana AI Week starting on Monday 27 July—as well as categories, tags, latest topics, documentation links, plugins, and Grot AI assistance.

Step-by-Step Guide to Ask a Question on the Grafana Community
Step 1 – Grafana Community Login
Choose to log in using third-party providers such as Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or Amazon.
Step 2 – Grafana Community Dashboard
Click the blue New Topic button highlighted on the right to start creating a new discussion or post.
Step 3 – Create Topic Dialog
- View the Create topic modal window that appears after clicking the New Topic button.
- Enter a brief title for your discussion in the title field labeled “What is this discussion about in one brief sentence?”.
- Select a relevant Category and optionally add tags to organize your post.
- Compose your main message in the rich text editor area and click the blue Create Topic button to publish your discussion, or click Discard to cancel.
Step 4 – Post Needs Approval Notification
- View the Post Needs Approval pop-up window confirming that your new post has been received and is awaiting moderation before it goes public.
- Click the blue OK button to dismiss the notification and return to the community dashboard.
