Introduction
Hashnode is a free and easy-to-use blogging platform where developers, students, and tech professionals can write and publish articles. You can create your own blog, share tutorials, programming tips, project ideas, and other tech-related content with people around the world. Hashnode also helps you build your online presence and connect with other writers and developers.

Step 1: Open Hashnode and Sign In
First, open the Hashnode website. If you already have an account, click Log In. If you don’t have one, click Sign Up to create a free account. You can also sign in with your Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, or email account.
Step 2: Create Your Blog
If you’re using Hashnode for the first time, you’ll be asked to create your blog. Enter your blog name, choose a username, and create a blog URL. Then click Create Blog. If you already have a blog, you can skip this step and continue.
Step 3: Create Your First Publication
After logging in, click the Create your first publication button. Enter your publication name, choose a URL, and complete the required details. Then click Create Publication. Once your publication is ready, you can start writing and publishing your articles.
Step 4: Enter Your Publication Details
Enter your Publication Name and choose a unique Publication Subdomain. You can also upload a publication icon if you want. After filling in the details, click the Create Publication button to continue.
Step 5: Click on Write
After your publication is created, click the Write button in the top-right corner. This will open the Hashnode editor where you can start writing your article.
Step 6: Add Your Article
Now it’s time to write your article. First, type your article title at the top. Then write your article in the editor below. You can also make your article look better by adding:
- A cover image
- Headings and subheadings
- Pictures
- Links
- Code blocks (if needed)
- Bullet points
- And other formatting options
These help make your article more attractive and easier for people to read.
Step 7: Preview Your Blog
Click the Preview button to see how your blog will look after it is published. Check that everything is correct, such as the title, content, images, and links. If you find any mistakes or forget something, go back, fix it, and then publish your blog.
Step 8: Publish Your Blog
When your article is ready, click the Publish button in the top-right corner. If Hashnode asks for additional details like a short description, tags, or SEO information, fill them in and click Publish again. Your article will then be live on your Hashnode blog.
