This guide explains how to create your first website on Carrd.

Steps to publish your site on Carrd.co

Step 1: Sign In to Carrd

1. Open your web browser.
2. Visit Carrd.
3. Click Log In.
4. Sign in to your Carrd account.

If you don’t have an account, create one for free.

Step 2: Click “Choose a Starting Point.”

After signing in:

1. Click Choose a Starting Point (or the New Site option if you already have existing websites).
2. Carrd will display its template gallery.

Step 3: Select a Website Template

Browse the available templates and choose one that matches your purpose.

Popular template categories include:

• Personal
• Portfolio
• Business
• Landing Page
• Profile
• Form
• Coming Soon

You can also start with a blank template if you prefer.

Step 4: Add New Elements

Click the + (Add) button to insert new content.

Available elements include:

• Text
• Images
• Buttons
• Icons
• Videos
• Gallery
• Divider
• Social Links
• Embed
• Contact Form (Pro)

Arrange elements by dragging them into the desired position.

Step 5: click on “Publish This Site.”

See the right side of the page. You see a button to publish.

Step 6: Configure Website Settings

Open the Site Settings panel and configure:

• Website title
• Description
• Favicon
• Social sharing image
• SEO settings (where available)
• URL (Free users receive a .carrd.co subdomain)
