Step-by-Step Guide to Publish a Story on HackerNoon
Step 1: Open HackerNoon and Sign In
First, open the HackerNoon website. If you already have an account, click Log In and sign in. If you don’t have an account, click Sign Up to create a free account. You can also sign in using Google or other available login options. If you already have an account with any of those services, you can log in directly.

Step 2: Open the Writing Editor
After you log in, click your profile picture in the top-right corner. Then click Write or Start Writing. This will open the page where you can write your story.

Step 3: Choose a Writing Option
After clicking Write, you’ll see different writing options. Select Blank Draft With Editor 3.0 to create a new article. A new editor will open where you can start writing your story.

Step 4: Add Your Story Title
At the top of the editor, enter your story title. Choose a clear and simple title that matches your article.

Step 5: Write Your Story
Now start writing your article in the editor. Use simple and clear language. Add headings, bullet points, images, links, code blocks, or videos if needed to make your article easy to read and understand.

Step 6: Complete Story Details
After you finish writing your article, fill in the story details on the right side of the editor. Add a short meta description, select the correct category, add relevant story tags, choose the Emoji Credibility Indicator (if needed), and answer whether the story is original. These details help organize your article and make it easier for readers to find.


Step 7: Preview Your Story
Before publishing, click the Preview button to see how your story will look. Check your title, content, formatting, images, links, and fix any spelling or grammar mistakes if needed.

Step 8: Submit Your Story
When your story is ready, click the Submit Story button. Your article will be sent to the HackerNoon editorial team for review. If it meets their guidelines, it will be published on the website.
